Welcome to the homepage of the Signal Processing and Communications (SigProC) Laboratory. We are part of the Information Engineering Division of Cambridge University Engineering Department. The Signal Processing and Communications Laboratory is home to 5 Faculty members and some 35 research staff and research students. There is a strong emphasis on Bayesian computational methodology, for example sequential Monte Carlo (particle filters) and Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC), as well as geometric algebra and multi-resolution (wavelet) methods, for signal analysis and reconstruction. Information theory, coding, and data compression are also prominent research themes. An overview of the laboratory, and a list of current research themes and projects are available. If you are interested in engaging in collaborative research, or joining the group as a student or visitor, you may wish to contact a member of staff whose interests are similar to your own.
